We have a Babson Brother's Surge Bucket Milker and I love it. I have both an original pulsator and a newer modern pulsator. I love the old but it doesn't work so well in the winter with drastic temperature changes. Hopefully I will have a heated milking parlor this winter so I won't have to deal with the cold.
If you have an older model pulsator and it isn't working quite right in may need to be rebuilt. This is not as scary as it sounds and you can get a rebuild kit from Fleet Farm for about $10. The tutorial from
