~ Homemade Gummie Snacks ~

When we were little, an occasional fruit snack was such a treat. Now, fruit snacks are nothing more than sugar, food dyes, and synthetic vitamin C. Even the so called healthy fruit snacks aren't a good substitute being filled with ingredients that I can't make in my own kitchen. Good news though, making homemade fruit snacks is easy and they are nutritious.

Using fresh fruit juices, natural sweeteners or no sweeteners at all, fresh fruit, even kombucha, you can make a healthy, nutrient rich treat for your kids, or even you. One thing all these recipes have in common is gelatin. Gelatin is protein packed and oh so helpful for healing the gut lining. Read more here, here, and here.
